There’s a big difference between physical rest and spiritual rest. Constant anxiety and worry put a stress on the body that a nap or a day on the couch watching tv cannot solve. Although you may physically be able to feel better for a time, no lasting change or relief will happen. The only way to find true rest for your body and soul is to find your rest with the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Lord provides rest in many different ways. He is always with us, providing us a safe refuge, and speaking our identities over us. He wants to be a part of everything we walk through. He understands suffering on a deeper level than we ever could, and He has empathy and compassion that can reach further into us than any person ever could. You can trust that when you seek Him, you will find rest with the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
